MUSIC AND HUMAN BRAIN

In the beginn ing, Music is an art form whose origin dates back in the  Paleolithic era. Creation and response to music have been one of the unique features of our world and probably gives a hint about our earlier evolutionary development. The first musical instrument used by our ancestors was the voice. Music is all around us. From high-voltage Rock concert to soothing Classical performances, various genres of music have touched our hearts. Even the nature has its own music. But an intriguing biological question arises that why music is so loved universally and how it can elicit so many emotions?   Researches on music and the human brain Neuroscientists don't yet have the ultimate answers. Recent studies reveal  music engages many areas distributed throughout the brain, including those that are usually involved in other kinds of cognition. Actually, various areas of the brain are involved in processing various components of music like melody, rhythm, harmony and timbre. Bra

Do aliens exist?

Conventional wisdom has it that aliens should be either everywhere or nowhere. Many scientists throughout the world are trying to solve the mystery of ALIENS. One great scientist Frank Drake has provided us with the probabilistic argument used to estimate the no. of active extra-terrestrial civilizations in our milky way galaxy. He gave the Drake equation: N = R ∗  . f p  . n e .f l  . f i  . f c  . L   Putting the values, it is found that there are probably 1000-100000000 civilizations in the milky way galaxy. Then, the question arises:   ZOO HYPOTHESIS AND FERMI PARADOX: Fermi paradox is the apparent contradiction between the lack of evidence for extraterrestrial civilizations and various high estimates for their probability. There are billions of stars in the Milky Way similar to the Sun. With high probability, some of these stars have Earth-like planets, and if the Earth is typical, some may have already developed intelligent life. Some of these civilizations may have developed
